Rumours have been rife that Ellen and Portia are witnessing trouble in paradise. DeGeneres’ ill behaviour is said to have been a major cause of the rifts. Yes, that’s true! It was back in 2017 when Ellen DeGeneres was said to have been facing major insecurities. She couldn’t bear anybody close to wife Portia de Rossi, man or woman. That’s when a friend suggested marriage counselling.

A source close to National Enquirer had revealed that the couple had been living separately. They were said to be considering divorce as jealousy became a major issue.
“Ellen can’t deal when Portia gets attached to anyone else, man or woman. But it works both ways. When Ellen kisses up to her famous friends, Portia becomes consumed with self-doubt,” said a source close to the development.
Portia de Rossi’s friend then suggested professional help. But the Arrested Development actress resisted taking help from outside. Eventually, the couple did end up taking help as per reports.
“Ellen has been in counseling, both solo and with Portia. Part of their therapy is to go on more date nights. That’s why they’ve been seen out and about more together lately. It’s all about spending quality time together, but still giving each other space during the workday,” revealed the source further.
