The audience was always teased with subtle hints of where she is from. Now ScarJo has got candid about every – her upcoming Marvel film to her death in Avengers: Endgame.
As reported by Comicbook, in a preview magazine, the Black Widow actress said, “This film gives the opportunity for some sort of healing and understanding as to why Natasha decides to make that ultimate sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame.”

Black Widow star added, “I don’t think we would have been able to cut that deep back then. It would have probably been much more of a straight-up spy thriller that maybe would have been a lot flashier in a different kind of way and just scratch the surface of what we do in this movie.”
The Lucy actress said that she is very happy with all the work she has done with Marvel. About her standalone film, Scarlett Johansson said, “There was no reason to do a Black Widow standalone film unless we could dig deep and be brave. I felt that Avengers: Endgame was so satisfying I wanted to make sure Black Widow would be so satisfying, not just for the fans, but also for myself, artistically and creatively, after a decade of playing this character.”
This will be the last time Scarlett will be seen in an MCU film. It’s going to be one hell of an emotional ride for all her fans. Black Widow is slated to release on November 6.
