The New Mutants is heading towards its finish line now even though it’s just been 6 days since its release. The film started on a low note but even worse was the way it continued to drop day by day.
The US collections crashed on Monday and after a steady Tuesday, there’s another significant drop on Wednesday. The business of The New Mutants was approx 16% down on Wednesday compared to Tuesday as the film reached below $400k mark.
According to Box Office Mojo, The New Mutants did a business of $394k approx on Wednesday compared to $467k Tuesday and $450k on Monday. This takes the total business of the X-Men spin-off in the US to $8.3 million approx so far. The film has been released in 2,412 theaters and its per cinema average has dropped from $1,290 to $163.

The New Mutants is likely to cross $8.5 million mark in the US by the end of this week and then can target $10 million in the second weekend. Meanwhile, it has already crossed $10 million worldwide as the film did an international business of $2.9 million in the first weekend.
