The New Mutants Box Office: After a little relief in the Labor Day weekend, the film touched an all-time low on Tuesday at the US box office. TNM had seen heavy drops in the first week which brought the collections to ground level. But what happened on Tuesday proved that the end is near.
The New Mutants did a business of $272.6k on Tuesday compared to $663k on Monday which was a Labor Day. The day to day drop was around 59%. The film has done a total business of $12.72 million so far in the USA which is terrible.
As per Box Office Mojo, The previous lowest business The New Mutants did was $393.75 on Wednesday. The collections had started picking up again from Thursday but that wasn’t enough to change its box office fate. The film was running in 2,412 US theatres in its first week but after restrictions getting off, the count became 2,754 in its second week. The per theatre average for The New Mutants was $1290 on its first day and it has reached $99 now which explains the whole story on its own.

The New Mutants has also done a business of $9.04 million in international markets which takes its worldwide total to $21.76 million.
The New Mutants is the latest X-Men spin-off and is based on the comic-book series. It follows 5 young mutants trapped in a secret facility against their will. Josh Boone has directed the film which stars Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy and Charlie Heaton in lead along with others.
The film released at the box office on Aug 28 after a long wait.
