It has been more than five months, but the COVID-19 pandemic is nowhere close to ending. Despite all the precautionary measures, a lot of people are getting infected with it. Thousands of people have lost their lives, and more and more positive cases are coming forward. The latest celebrity to test positive for coronavirus is The Batman actor Robert Pattinson.
The shooting of the movie was expected to start this month. Sadly, it won’t happen as the actor has tested positive. Hence, once again, the shooting of Matt Reeves’ movie has come to a halt.
As reported by Vanity Fair, Warner Bros gave an official statement that ‘someone’ from The Batman sets tested positive for COVID-19. However, they didn’t reveal the person’s name. Through their sources, the portal found out that it was Robert Pattinson.

In their statement, Warner Bros mentioned, “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”
That’s quite unfortunate news for all The Batman movie lovers. The Robert Pattinson starrer is one of the much-awaited movies of 2021. It is said that only 25% of the film is shot so far. First, due to lockdown, the shooting was halted in March. Now again, it’s stopped when it had just begun.
We hope for a speedy recovery of Robert!
