It’s really good news coming in for Sacha Baron Cohen fans as the sequel for Borat is very much on. The film which was released in 2006 has built its loyal fan base over the years.
The Larry Charles directorial was praised for its rawness and genuine laughter. Also, Cohen was appreciated for his character of Kazakh journalist, Borat Sagdiyev. Made at a budget of $18 million, the film minted a huge $263 million at the box office.

The report further revealed basic details on the plot by quoting, “The sequel finds Borat thinking he’s a big movie star after the success of the original 2006 film made him famous, so he’s trying to hide from the public by pretending to be someone else, and starts meeting/interviewing people incognito.”
Now, if the report turns out to be true, Borat 2 won’t be taking long to hit the screens.
Meanwhile, When the first part was released in November 2006, Pamela Anderson had been married to Rock for three months – but their divorce a few weeks later led many to wonder if the film had played a part in the break-up. Back then, it was learnt that friend of Anderson’s said Rock was unhappy with the film, and after the credits rolled “started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, ‘You’re nothing but a whore! You’re a slut! How could you do that movie?’”
Speaking on the same, Sacha Baron Cohen had said, “Pamela texted that they were getting divorced. I thought it was a joke, but then a few weeks later they got divorced and they put as a reason for divorce: Borat,” while speaking to the Last Laugh.
