With just two days away from this month’s much-awaited WWE pay per view event Extreme Rules, the likes of Braun Strowman, Cesaro and others were all pumped up to deliver a message loud and clear for their respective opponents on what to expect this coming Sunday.
Braun Strowman Vs John Morrison: Universal Champion Braun Strowman has got a big match this Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules, as he will be going one on one with his former Wyatt Family member, Bray Wyatt. The duo will be facing each other in a Swamp Fight. The current Universal champion couldn’t have asked for anything more than a match with John Morrison on Smackdown, as the ‘Monster Among Men’ was on a rampaging mood, as he destroyed John in no time, the big man delivered his finishing move running power slam to win the match via pinfall to send a strong message to his former buddy and now opponent, Bray Wyatt, at Extreme Rules.
Cesaro Vs Big E: WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Big E and Kofi Kingston have been sharing a strong feud with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura from the past number of weeks. Big E went one on one with Ceasro in a match where the winner and his teammate gets to choose a stipulation of their choice for the smackdown tag team title match that is to be held on Sunday at Extreme Rules. Cesaro and Big E displayed a great match, as it went back and forth, till the former was somehow able to put his finishing movers with a Big Swing into the Sharpshooter followed by a Neutralizer on Big E to win the match and choose the speculation of his and Shinsuke’s choice for their match at Extreme Rules. Following which the number 1 contenders for the team championship chose tables match for Sunday at Extreme Rules.

Matt Riddle Vs AJ Styles (Intercontinental Championship): Matt Riddle made a dream debut on Smackdown last month, as the young wrestler went one on one with Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, and defeated the champion in a nontitle match. Following which in this week’s episode the duo exchanged some heated words, as Matt Riddle challenged AJ Styles for a match, not any regular match, but a one with the latter’s prestigious Intercontinental Championship on line. AJ Styles didn’t hesitate as he was game on. The Championship match had the WWE Universe on edge of their seats, as both the champion and challenger displayed every trick in the book to keep their opponent down. But right from the start, it was AJ Styles who had the upper hand with a showcase of his veteran moves. Matt Riddle too assured to make a regular comeback, as he didn’t want the champion to take away the match to make it one-sided. But at the very end, it was AJ Styles who had the last laugh as he retained the Intercontinental Championship by pinning the challenger down for 123.
Talking about Women’s Divison, Bayley and Sasha Banks took on Asuka and Nikki Cross in a tag team match, in which the former duo gained victory with Bayley pinning Nikki Cross.
Apart from the tag team match, one also get to witness a one on one match between Lacy Evans and Naomi. The match everyone is taking, as both the women gave their best. Till Lacy Evans gained a pinfall victory with her finisher ‘The Women’s Right’ over Naomi.
