Princess Beatrice, the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York was a blushing bride on her special day. The Royal Family shared the first wedding photos from the Princess’ wedding to Italian businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on their Twitter handle.
The picture of the newlyweds were taken at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The couple exchanged vows on Friday, July 17. The celebration was an intimate and private affair. According to multiple reports, around 20 guests stood witnessed for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi nuptials. Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and her immediate family along with others were in attendance. The ceremony was followed by a small lunch held at Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson’s estate at the Royal Lodge.

Princess Beatrice wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara. Both, the dress and tiara, belong to Her Majesty The Queen. The tiara was worn by Her Majesty on her wedding day in 1947. The Royal Family’s Twitter handle also shared a picture of the happy couple with Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

Princess Beatrice & Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are believed to have started dating in 2018. They attended the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor, Beatrice’s second cousin once removed, together. They got engaged in Italy in September 2019. The Royal Wedding was scheduled to take place on May 29, 2020 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, followed by a private reception in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. But first, the reception and then the wedding itself was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
