Friends have taught us all so many things on different levels. The show just doesn’t embrace friendship but a lot of cordial relationships which are important to us in our day to day lives. But did y’all notice that there was a hidden message hidden in the pregnancies of the lead actress of the show – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
Besides these three ladies, the show stars Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc in pivotal roles.
While we were all so busy noticing different things in the show, we forgot how the makers embroiled the motherhood for our leading ladies Jennifer, Courteney and Lisa.

For the unversed, Lisa Kudrow aka Phoebe Buffay was the first person to get pregnant among the leading cast and that too, she conceived it for her brother. Isn’t that sweet? Remember her dialogue when she comes and tell all her friends and says, “I am going to give someone the greatest gift you can possibly give!” Well indeed.
Phoebe was a surrogate to her brother as his wife couldn’t conceive children.
Then Jennifer aka Rachel Green gets pregnant with David Schwimmer aka Ross Geller’s child. She embraces motherhood as a single mother and in an entirely different way and that was too adorable to put it in words.
Then comes Courteney aka Monica Geller who is married to Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing on the show and trying to conceive but couldn’t. The couple then decides to adopt the kids.
The writers intentionally wrote unconventional journeys of motherhood for the fans to send out positive messages to them. Motherhood doesn’t necessarily mean you need to get pregnant but it can be felt in a thousand different ways!
