It’s awards time in Hollywood! The 72nd Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday. What’s amazing is that Netflix has the highest record for getting nominated the most (160 in total) beating HBO who had 137 nominations in 2019.
Some shows got multiple nominations. For example, HBO’s Watchmen has a record of 26 whereas Amazon Prime’s The Marvelous Mrs Maisel has 20 nominations. Next is Netflix’s Ozark and HBO another drama Succession and both have 18 nominations overall. This year, Disney+ is another addition whose show The Mandalorian along with NBU’s Saturday Night Live and Pop TV’s Schitt’s Creek scored 15.
From Stranger Things, What We Do In The Shadows, and Unorthodox to Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston, and Don Cheadle, the nominations for Emmy Awards are interesting AF. Check out the full list below:
