Laal Singh Chaddha has been in the making for a while now. The film that stars Aamir Khan as a Sikh individual, and will witness several milestone events from the Indian history post-1947. While there have been speculations about the events incorporated in the script, the recent report claims that it may now have COVID-19 too.
“It is self-evident that a film on the important historical happenings cannot be complete without communicating the Corona crisis. The shooting that is now halted would resume once the lockdown is over, with fresh inputs in the screenplay,” said a source close to the development, in a Bollywood Hungama report.

However, grapevine also has that Laal Singh Chaddha will delve into the most controversial incident of all time, the Babri Masjid demolition. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have completed a major chunk of the film. Several stills from the sets have also gone viral. The team has by now shot in Chandigarh and Kolkata.
For the unversed, helmed by Advait Chandan and adapted by Atul Kulkarni, Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of the Oscar-winning cult classic film Forrest Gump. The film will also star South Superstar Vijay Sethupathi and Mona Singh.
