WWE Money In The Bank 2020 RESULTS: Drew McIntyre Continues The Dream Run; Ladder Matches Turn Out To Be Surprisingly Fun

After the unique Wrestlemania 36, WWE’s Money In The Bank 2020 took place on Sunday. Amid the pandemic conditions, the event was held without any live audience but fortunately, it turned out to be enjoyable.

With women’s and men’s ladder match taking place simultaneously, the excitement was on its peak and one must say, it lived all the hype. Also, a lot of factors like AJ Styles return, Drew McIntyre facing Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt ‘The Fiend’ going one on one against his former Wyatt Family member, Braun Strowman, made the event interesting. But who really won those highly anticipated matches? Take a quick look.

Check out the results:

Jeff Hardy v. Cesaro (Kick-Off show)

Jeff Hardy’s first-ever match after the return. He seals a victory over Cesaro with Swanton bomb. A classic Hardy match!

New Day v. The Forgotten Sons v. Lucha House Party v. The Miz & John Morrison (Fatal 4 way for tag team championship)

A fast-paced match with exciting twists but it’s the New Day who scores a victory to continue the golden run. Big E gives a Big Ending to Gran Metalik and retains the title.

MVP v. R-Truth

Here something unusual happened as MVP backed out of the match due to his bickering with R-Truth. He was replaced by deadly Bobby Lashley. Lashley literally destroys Truth with a spear and seals a dominating win in a short time.

Bayley v. Tamina (SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Thanks to Shasha Banks’, Bayley successfully defends her title. After giving a Samoan drop, Tamina almost had it but then WWE’s old trick of distraction comes. Bayley counters the second attempt of Tamina’s Samoan drop with a crucifix pin and seals the victory.

Braun Strowman v. Bray Wyatt ‘The Fiend’

It was pretty expected that Strowman to score a victory over his Bray Wyatt, until and unless any mind games come into play. Surprisingly Strowman defeats Wyatt by giving him a taste of his own medicines.

Drew McIntyre v. Seth Rollins (WWE Championship)

Two best athletes come together and gave us the best of the event! Yes, it was a highly entertaining affair with the claymore impact defeating the Monday night messiah. Both opponents shaking hands was a highlight point.

AJ Styles v. Daniel Bryan v. Rey Mysterio v. Baron Corbin v. Aleister Black v. Otis & Asuka v. Dana Brooke v. Carmella v. Nia Jax v. Lacey Evans v. Shayna Baszler (Men’s & women’s ladder matches)

For the first time in history, both the ladder matches took place simultaneously and it was a hell of fun. It all started in the basement gym and the ground floor. The match had its moments like AJ getting a horrific flashback of boneyard match after looking at Undertaker’s poster, food fight and Bryan, AJ getting scolded by the boss, Vince.

Amongst all the divas, Asuka unclips the briefcase while AJ’s fumbles at the top of the ladder to help Otis to grab the briefcase.
