Stardom wrestler Hana Kimura had been in the news lately for not so good reasons. The Japan-based wrestler, daughter of Kyoko Kimura, was dealing with severe depression after she got bullied online for getting angry with one of her cast mates on the Netflix reality show Terrace House. Recently she had even posted some pictures of herself which showed that she has cut her arm. Her photos and the message had worried her fans, and now there’s news of her passing away.
Confirming the news Stardom had issued a statement earlier today. According to Mandatory.com, it translates in English as, “Stardom fans, we are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. We appreciate your support during this difficult time.”

Hana Kimura’s Twitter post had this message for fans, “Nearly 100 frank opinions every day. I couldn’t deny that I was hurt. I’m dead. Thank you for giving me a mother. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you to everyone who supported me. I love it. I’m weak, I’m sorry. I don’t want to be a human anymore. It was a life I wanted to be loved. Thank you everyone, I love you. Bye.”

The 22-year-old wrestler had joined the Netflix Japan reality show Terrace House late last year. She was a two-time Artist of Stardom Champion and a one-time Goddess of Stardom Champion.
