There is no two ways about the fact that it looks a bit similar to Bol Bachchan as far its genre is concerned. Both are action comedies with Ajay Devgan in one of the lead roles. Yet Son Of Sardar has managed to show some uniqueness. First, apart from Ajay and the action genre, nothing is common between the two. Here, he has Sanjay Dutt as his other co-star rather than Abhishek Bachchan and will be seen romancing Sonakshi Sinha, instead of Asin. Also, there are no over-the-top stunts where you see men and cars flying at equal pace. Moreover, the Sikh connect in the movie has made it even more alluring.
Some of the gags do make you laugh. But if it hasn�t been the case with you yet, we are sure there will be more such jests for you to laugh on. As for Sonakshi, she has this knack of gelling with all the 40+ actors with great �lan. She looks good with Devgan but we think she kind of looks too fat in one of the sequence. Sanjay Dutt with his flowing hairdo gives an eerie feeling while Juhi Chawla is a welcome and very refreshing change. From the looks of it, she has a very peppy track in the movie and we are totally looking forward to it. All in all, Son Of Sardar seems stuffed with everything that can make cinegoers go for it. I guess we can safely say Ajay Devgan is in the running for yet another hit this year after Bol Bachchan!
